Andreas T. Schaffron has worked as a leadership developer with various companies since 2000. Presently he is employed by Daimler AG, makers of the Mercedes-Benz cars and trucks. He regularly works on special projects with other clients as a freelancer.
His focus lies in the design and facilitation of international leadership programs, coaching executives (with a focus on personal mastery, transition into a new position - the first 100 days, and resolving interpersonal conflict), designing change processes, and facilitating workshops with teams mostly to resolve conflict and enhance performance.
He has had clients in telecom, aviation, automotive, finance and utilities in both small businesses as well as global corporations. His working languages are German and English.
Andreas has managed a team of 25 highly skilled engineers from eight different countries in the telecom industry. So he knows from own experience that any workshop or coaching is only as good as the difference it makes in your everyday task. In his work he takes great care to integrate the three elements of experiential learning, reflection, and theory into a balanced whole.
Originally trained as a psychologist at universities in Germany and Canada, Andreas' clients value his thorough grounding in the social sciences. As a lecturer he enjoys challenging students to apply the best of their knowledge and thinking to what really makes people and organisations tick.
On his regular assignments in Germany and abroad, Andreas greatly misses his wife and two children with whom he lives in Stuttgart, Germany. But this seems to be a fair price for working with interesting people on intensive development journeys.
